Using electrons to “find” the nucleophile

Organic chemistry centers around the movement of electrons. And these electrons are used to create new bonds. Every reaction you learn involves a nucleophile and an electrophile. Therefore in this video, I show you a simple way to use electrons to “find” the nucleophiles in your reactions.

 

 

Use the electrons to find out the formal charge of an atom

Also, I briefly talk about how to determine the charge around an atom. This will help you determine both the nucleophile and electrophile in your reactions.
