A New Series – “Organic Chemistry Simplified”

Organic Chemistry Simplified is Finally Here

Organic Chemistry Simplified is a series of short posts that dramatically reduces the complexity of organic chemistry into simple language and visual elements. I constantly seek to teach organic chemistry in the simplest fashion possible without losing the core elements that make up the science. And this is what has come out of this questioning – Organic Chemistry Simplified.

Here are the 6 parts to the series

Lines and Letters – Part 1

Breaking Lines – Part 2

“Breaking Lines” Example – Part 3

Reagents – Part 4

The Reaction Scheme – Part 5

Putting It All Together – Part 6

I hope this condensed series helps shed light on what has continued to be the “make it or break it” class for many students.
