Use The Periodic Table to Your Advantage

Most, if not all, chemistry classrooms have a periodic table on the wall. If it is there, you should use it to your advantage to help you solve questions on your exam. Here, I will show you how to use the periodic table to determine the number of bonds to specific atoms.

 

 

In this video, I go over how you can use the periodic table to figure out how many bonds (and types of bonds) can be placed on each atom. This is essentially the same as my Organic Chemistry Simplified: Lines and Letters (Part 1) post…but with more detail.
